Kauai Paniolo Showdown, more than just a rodeo! 

It is a community endeavor

hosted by Friendship Do’s Ranch (Earl and Lori Lemn) and Akita Ranch.
It goes hand in hand with Waimea Town Celebration which brings unity to our community, dollars to our Youth Groups and Retailers.

IT PROVIDES THE FINEST IN FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT!

This year our action packed rodeo will include the following events Team Roping:
(Century, Mixed, #4, #5.5 and Open), Wahine & Keiki Barrel Racing, Rescue Race, Ribbon Roping, Breakaway Roping, (Keiki) Reach Roping and Hawaii’s Own Po’o Wai U and Double Mugging, and RAWHIDE RACE. Also hosting on Thursday night is the World’s Best Muley Roping!


Sponsorship of a Banner (Provided by Sponsor), Buckle or Saddle will allow you to display your banner inside the arena for all 3 days of events and will be announced throughout the events including a short tutorial promoting your business and will be seen by spectators and contestants from all over. Sponsors will be invited to present the buckle or saddle they sponsored during the awards ceremony at the end of the Showdown!


Sponsors will be entered into a drawing for a Weekend in Waimea Package which includes a (1) one night stay at the Waimea Plantation Cottages 2 bedroom Ocean View cottage with a $50 Gift Certificate to Waimea’s Chicken and a Barrel, a movie voucher for 2 (two) to the Waimea Theater.
